Currently we have 4 teams entered in the South Australian Winter Baseball Association season where we have won many championships in our 50 year history. The season begins each May and concludes in August. Flinders is also invloved in the SABL, the Summer Baseball League, in division 7. The season goes from October to March with a break over Christmas and New Year.

Womens Baseball
Supported by Flinders who field many players in the new Women’s Baseball League. Experienced and new players are all welcome.

Embracing diversity
Flinders University Baseball and Softball Club has a long tradition of inclusion with men, women, beginners and experienced players of all ages participating. The club is also inclusive of all cultures and religion with players from all corners of the globe having played and participated.

However the country which has had representation more than any other is Japan with literally dozens of Japanese players being involved with the club for more than 25 years. Some examples include the former President Yuta Oshima, Kentaro Fujita who coached a team in Division 2 in SA Winter baseball, Keizo Nakasue who was a team manager for many years, and Takeshi Oishi who managed a team that competed at the Australian University Games.

Australian University Games
We also send teams to the University games each year with a number of medals being won by the Club in the past (Gold in Baseball in 1999, 1995 and 1969).
