Some programs included in the free 2023 wellness activities include:
ACTIVATION (SIMPLE GAMES & ACTIVITIES) Activation is held across term time, from 9.30am – 2.30pm at the Hub. Get active and moving, use your breaks for fun with friends or to simply deload your brain from all that study! Badminton, quoits, finska, basketball, footy and more!
SELF DEFENSE – This FREE course will help you feel confident, know how to defend yourself, feel safer and get you active and moving! Courses are tailored to both men and women – you can book one to suit you.
YOGA – 4 week yoga programs, with focus areas to benefit your physical and emotional health too. Run both semesters.
DANCE – One of our most popular short courses in 2022, we will again offer a dance course, with a range of different styles. Free to all. Date TBC.
HEALTHY COOKING – Run by our resident dietitian Jacqui Beal, this course is free, and will arm you with the skills and knowledge to prepare and enjoy healthy food, on a tight budget! Plus, you get a free meal each week!
BARRE – A new course for 2023, we’re excited to offer Barre as a 3 week course. Move your body and develop flexibility, strength and confidence while being active.
