Shodokan Aikido is a style of martial arts that prioritises avoiding your opponent’s attacks and redirecting their force.
Following the teachings of the Kenji Tomiki Shihan, the founder of Shodkan Aikido, we practice kata, a set of techniques, and tanto randori, one-on-one competitive sparing.
Because we are a part of the Oceana Aikido Kyougi Renmei with direct links to the Brisbane Chuo and the Shodokan Honbu Dojo in Osaka in Japan, we attend the national and international competitions.
We welcome you to attend our club for a free introductory lesson.
